The trans-physical realm in which space-time is embedded. All physical entities have a representation in the Noosphere and are directly accessible from the Noosphere. Some entities also have a connected entity in the Noosphere: a spirit. Such connected dualities are referred to as Spiritences. Purely Noosphere-located entities also exist: spirits.

The Noosphere was first accidentally accessed technologically in 2889AD by an individual working for BoSpax Corp. Within two years, repeatable technological access was established. And, within another three years, in 2894AD space-time transit through the Noosphere was achieved. It was not for another 800 years (Earth time) before the importance of the Noosphere as the locus for spirits was recognized and the subsequent discovery of other Spiritences. Until that time, Humanity suspected it might be alone in the universe.
